Hello friends,
I’m sure you’re saying - “gee, it sure has been a while since Jim put anything on these pages”. This is true. I should blog more often. I guess nothing that exciting is happening… though it IS almost christmas time. I’m excited! I need to take some more mobile photos… and then post them for the world to enjoy.

As you may have guessed, this blog uses Wordpress to do the blogging (hence the shout out at the bottom of the page to them). The iPhone Wordpress app has arrived and I can’t wait to use it. Watch the video below to see all the cool things it can do. I will have to upgrade to a later version then the one I’m using now, which hopefully will go smoothly, but then you’ll see more mobile posts with photos!
Update: everything got moved over and seems to be working just fine. Hooray!

That’s right ladies and gentlemen, I have officially beaten the main story of Grand Theft Auto 4. It took me about 46 hours and 9 minutes to complete and it was amazing. What an awesome game. I still have quite a bit left to do in the game… Extra missions, missing characters, finding hidden packages, stunts, etc. I’m excited to know what the downloadable content will be in the fall.

You beat teh gamez!
Once you do beat it, they admit you into “The Story Gang” which means you’re L33t enough to get to the end. Since I’m at only 70% total completion, I have quite a bit left before i get into the 100% club. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, then you should watch this video here.

Warning: This is long. Really long. This is the epic post about the trip you all have been asking for. It’s got almost 50 photos and it’s packed with all the details of the trip I can remember (that would fit in a blog post). So go get a snack, hit the bathroom… OK, all set? [Read more...]

Well, I have officially moved this blog to my own server. I did this for a couple of reasons, one being that I can edit the themes a lot more. Second, and really the most important reason, is that it works much better with iPhone. If you have one (you don’t yet?) you’ll be able to get the proper width for the browser and a custom home screen icon! The back end works much nicer for me as well… letting me create posts, view comments and a bunch more wherever I am. Since they’re coming soon with a custom app, I figured now would be a good time to move it around.
I know you’re probably wondering where the epic post of my vacation is. I promise it’s coming… I had to edit a bunch of photos, remember what I did, sit, type… So much I tell you! So the full trip report will be posted soon now that the technical difficulties have been taken care of.

Well, here we begin. The journey forward to adventure. What awaits us? no one knows yet for sure. One thing is clear though; it’s going to be a great trip! We woke up really early (remember that early post?) and got to the airport. Before you could say “hey, did you get that memo about the Albanian with the really dark tan that wanted to find out if you had a spare stapler remover?”, we were up in the open air, soaring towards our destination.

Orlando from 10,000 feet
The flight was pretty quick even though it got delayed a little (20 minutes). I watched The Matrix on my iPhone and before I could finish it the Captain came on to tell us we were landing. 1 hour and 20 minutes later we were having lunch with my family. We hung out for a while and we got to meet Dan’s girlfriend, Laura. She was nice. We all hung around together for a while and ate dinner.

Love Birds Laura and Dan
We all had a nice Dinner and dessert together and lounged around with the Adirondacks pulling at our heart strings. Laura went home and we all went to bed early so that we could get an early start on the long (6 hour) car ride to the place of outdoor dreams. Friday was an easy day besides the travel and we would need our strength and sense of adventure for what lay ahead for us all.

So I’m back from my epic trip to the Adirondack Mountains. It was a glorious trip with lots of fun activities. I went hiking, backpacking, canoeing, fishing, camping, sleeping, rock-climbing, and a host of other fun -ing ending words. I’ll be making a post of each day with some photos of what we did. Right now I’m recovering from a long trip back to PA - Tomorrow a long trip back to FL. Weee.
So what can you expect soon? Exciting Posts about each day with photos, blurbs, funny quips, and what not. so hold onto those hats of yours…

Good morning. It’s early, about 7 and here I an sitting in the airport. Securty was way fast… They now have a great system in which there are 3 line with signs that say somthing like “family”, “expert traveler”, and “casual traveler” aka you’re an idiot. We, of course, went in expert and went quickly. Now here I sit waiting for the flight and its delayed a little. They said because of maintenance. I say because they changed pilots. *cue Lost intro music*

I’m trying out a web app called blog it… It let’s you post to your blogs through one interface on your iPhone. It’s pretty cool. I’m sure I’ll be using this to post from… unfortunately, I can’t upload photos. Perhaps that will be added in as an app when the app store launches. I can hardly wait!
